Manuscript Types
The journal accepts the following types of submissions:
Research Articles
Review Articles
Case Reports and Case Series
Short Communications
Technical Notes
All submissions must be relevant to forensic pathology, forensic medicine, or related medico-legal sciences.
File Format
Manuscripts should be submitted as Microsoft Word (.docx) or PDF files
Authors using LaTeX may submit a PDF for review
Page numbers must be included
Use a clear, readable font (e.g., Times New Roman, 12 pt)
Manuscript Structure
Manuscripts should be organized in the following order, where applicable:
Title
Author names and institutional affiliations
ORCID iD for the corresponding author (recommended for all authors)
Abstract (maximum 250 words)
3–6 keywords
Introduction
Literature Review (if applicable)
Materials and Methods / Methodology
Results and Analysis
Discussion and Conclusion
Acknowledgements (if any)
Conflict of Interest Statement
References
Case reports may follow a modified structure appropriate to the content.
Ethical Requirements
By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that:
The work is original and not under review elsewhere
All sources are properly cited
Ethical approval has been obtained for research involving human subjects, human remains, or animals, where applicable
Informed consent has been obtained when required
Manuscripts may be screened for plagiarism
Figures and Tables
Figures and tables should be included within the manuscript for initial review
Each figure and table must have a clear, descriptive caption
Images must be ethically appropriate and anonymized where necessary
Any image enhancement or manipulation must be disclosed
References
Authors may use Vancouver, APA, or IEEE citation styles.
The selected reference style must be used consistently throughout the manuscript
References should be accurate, complete, and properly formatted
ORCID
The corresponding author is required to provide an ORCID iD
Co-authors are strongly encouraged to include ORCID iDs
After publication, authors may add the article to their ORCID record using the assigned DOI
Submission
All manuscripts must be submitted through the online submission system only
Submissions sent via email, messaging apps, or other informal channels will not be accepted
Article Template
Authors are required to prepare their manuscripts using the official journal article template.
The template ensures consistency in formatting and presentation across all published articles.
