Global Journal of Forensic Pathology and Medicine (GJFPM)
The Global Journal of Forensic Pathology and Medicine (GJFPM) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes original scholarly work advancing research, practice, and education in forensic pathology, forensic medicine, and allied medico-legal sciences.
The journal provides a professional academic forum for researchers, practitioners, and legal medicine experts to disseminate scientifically rigorous and ethically grounded research relevant to medico-legal investigations worldwide.
Aim
GJFPM aims to promote excellence and innovation in forensic pathology and forensic medicine by publishing high-quality, peer-reviewed research that strengthens scientific understanding, supports medico-legal decision-making, and advances the application of medical evidence within legal systems.
Scope
GJFPM welcomes submissions in the following areas, among others:
- Forensic Pathology: autopsy science, cause and manner of death determination, sudden and unexplained deaths, custodial deaths
- Forensic and Legal Medicine: medico-legal investigations, injury documentation, medical jurisprudence
- Clinical Forensic Medicine: examination of living victims and suspects, sexual assault examination, age estimation
- Forensic Histopathology & Molecular Pathology: tissue analysis, microscopic findings, molecular diagnostics
- Forensic Toxicology: toxic substances, drugs of abuse, pharmacology, and postmortem toxicology
- Trauma & Injury Analysis: wound interpretation, blunt and sharp force trauma, firearm injuries
- Forensic Radiology & Imaging: postmortem imaging, virtual autopsy, radiologic documentation
- Disaster Victim Identification: mass fatalities, humanitarian forensic action, identification protocols
- Death Certification & Mortality Studies: death registration, mortality data, public health implications
- Ethics & Professional Practice: forensic ethics, standards, quality assurance, and legal responsibilities
Article Types
The journal accepts the following types of submissions:

All submissions must demonstrate scientific rigor, ethical compliance, and clear relevance to forensic pathology, forensic medicine, or medico-legal practice. Manuscripts lacking forensic or medico-legal significance are outside the scope of the journal.
